This facility is used by more than 90,000 people in our community each year. The 18,500 square foot facility has a high school regulation gymnasium, stage, game room, four meeting rooms and a working kitchen. The facility provides an abundant source of summer youth programs, adult league sports, cultural events and meeting area. It also provides a location for the Destin Snowbirds to host their meetings and the Destin Rodeo to host the Miss Destin Pageant.

| Woodcarving
A Wood Carving Class meets at the Destin Community Center on Fridays at 9am. The class includes instruction and ideas from other carvers. This is a hobby for men and women alike that requires only a small investment in tools and materials. There is a $3 charge per class. Please call 654-5184 for more information. |

| Youth 4 on 4 Flag Football Registration
The City of Destin will hold registration for Summer Flag Football April 1st through May 31st. Register online at www.cityofdestin.com or in person at the Destin Community Center Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. The program is for youth ages 7-17, as of June 1, 2013. The cost is $16 for Destin residents and $26 for non-residents. A coaches meeting will be held June 6th at the Morgan Sports Center at 6 p.m. The games will be on Thursday evenings starting June 27th. There are team sponsorships and coaching opportunities still available. Please call the Destin Community Center at 850-654-5184 or email recreation@cityofdestin.com for more information. |
