Opportunities
Destin’s Parks and Recreation Department has the best volunteers anywhere. Without our volunteers we would not be able to provide residents and visitors with the high quality programs, special events and facilities that have come to be expected in Destin. Volunteer staff hours comprise nearly 70% of our total annual staff hours. We have opportunities for everyone including:
- Assisting with programs
- Carpentry
- Coaching
- Park beautification efforts
- Working with our Adopt a Park program
