Biographical Information
Dewey E. Destin, Jr. is a 5th generation Floridian having grown up in Destin while commercial fishing and operating restaurants. Mr. Destin is the city's longest serving council member having held office over multiple terms since the city's incorporation in 1984. In addition to civic service, Mr. Destin serves on several local boards, including the Taylor Haugen Foundation.
