The City of Destin’s Code Compliance Department will host a workshop for the community on Monday, October 23 from 6-7:30 p.m.
“The intent is to allow citizens a chance to meet with staff, learn about the new direction we're taking with the department, and allow citizens to get their questions answered,” said Troy Williams, Code Compliance Director. “For those residents or tourists wanting to ensure time for their questions to be answered, we are asking for them to be emailed ahead of time to Dr. Tamara Young, our Public Information Director.” To submit questions, please email tyoung@cityofdestin.com.
In addition to meeting new officers hired, citizens will have an opportunity to see the new equipment being used by the Code Compliance Department, including lockout kits and water discs.
The workshop will take place at the City Hall Annex. Two or more members of the City Council may be in attendance.
